Micheál Podgers

Micheál Podgers currently serves as the Midwest Policy Lead for Climate Cabinet Action and has been the Policy Director at Better Streets Chicago since January 2021, where key achievements include leading the successful Plow The Sidewalk campaign. Previous experience includes managing the STEP subsidized housing program at the AIDS Foundation of Chicago and various roles in urban planning and policy, including research and editorial positions. Educational credentials include a Master's in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, complemented by a certificate in Geospatial Visualization and Analysis.
