Jimmy Pannett is an experienced energy specialist and program lead with a career spanning over two decades at The World Bank and currently serving as the Program Lead for the Scaling Up Renewable Energy Program (SREP) and Renewable Energy Integration (REI) at Climate Investment Funds since July 2019. At The World Bank, Jimmy has been instrumental in project management, focusing on the Digital Utility and future energy paradigms, including significant projects such as a US$ 655 million initiative to enhance the efficiency of electricity companies in Brazil and a US$ 50 million project aimed at strengthening the energy sector's oversight. Jimmy's roles have encompassed strategy formulation, large-scale program management, and oversight of various regional projects across multiple cultures, supported by a Master’s in Engineering Project Management from the University of Maryland and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from The George Washington University.
