Emma O'Doherty

Emma O'Doherty is a highly experienced professional with a robust background in event management, executive assistance, and public sector roles, currently serving as an Executive Assistant at Climate-KIC since April 2023. Previous experience includes supporting UN Climate Change High-Level Champion Nigel Topping as an Executive Assistant, where significant collaboration efforts and coordination for international climate initiatives were achieved. At the Cabinet Office, Emma was instrumental in the successful delivery of events at COP26 and managed the Public Procurement Bill’s progression through the House of Lords. Emma's extensive skill set encompasses stakeholder engagement, policy analysis, and project management across multiple sectors, including training and investment banking, where a strong emphasis was placed on talent acquisition and event coordination. Emma holds a Postgraduate Certificate in International Business from the University of Chester and a BA Hons in Irish History with International Politics from Ulster University.
