Jide Ikeako

Jide Ikeako is an accomplished professional in investment and energy transition initiatives, currently serving as the Director of the Global Energy Transition Initiative - Africa Program at ClimateWorks Foundation since June 2023. Previously, Jide held the position of Managing Director and Chief Executive of the Anambra State Investment Promotion & Protection Agency from 2018 to 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing the state's investment portfolio and representing government interests at various forums. Jide's extensive experience also includes roles as Chief Executive at L J Capital Terranova, Private Equity/Africa Opportunities Analyst at Millennium Global Investments, Group Head of Corporate Banking at Broad Bank, and Head of the Corporate Banking Team at Citizens Bank. Educational qualifications encompass an MBA in Finance from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
