Ewan Pitcairn

Ewan Pitcairn is a seasoned professional in the financial services sector with extensive experience in enhancing financial advice propositions and client relationships. Currently serving as Head of Proposition and Director of Special Projects at Close Brothers Asset Management since October 2011, Ewan has successfully implemented strategic initiatives related to MiFID II and GDPR, while overseeing the Adviser Services function, which supports a team of over 150 staff. Ewan's career includes roles as a Chartered Financial Planner focusing on high net worth clients, as well as previous positions at Lindsays and Scott-Moncrieff Wealth Management, where Ewan specialized in financial planning for individuals and organizations. Ewan began a career in finance as a Senior Pensions Administrator at Alba Life after obtaining a MA (Hons) in Mediaeval History from the University of St Andrews.
