Manasi Vartak

Manasi Vartak is a seasoned professional in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as the Chief AI Architect at Cloudera since 2024, following the acquisition of Verta, a company founded and led by Vartak that specialized in software infrastructure for enterprise data science. Previous experience includes a role as a Venture Fellow at Rough Draft Ventures, identifying and supporting promising student entrepreneurs, and a PhD candidacy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where Vartak led the development of ModelDB, a pioneering machine learning model management system. Additional roles include AI/ML researcher at Twitter, software engineering internships at Facebook, Google, and Microsoft, and educational contributions as a teaching assistant and research assistant in various prestigious institutions. Vartak holds an MS/PhD in Computer Science from MIT and a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
