Matthew Walsh

Matthew Walsh is an experienced leader in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Director of Development & Asset Management at CLP since August 2018, following a tenure as Associate Director - Renewables. Previously, Walsh held the position of Director of Operations at Octopus and served as EVP of Operations and Head of Asset Management at Sonnedix, overseeing over 500MW of Solar PV plants across various global regions. Earlier career highlights include roles as Head of JV Operations at Dong Energy and Operational Excellence Project Manager at Centrica Energy, where responsibilities encompassed driving performance and managing renewable energy assets. Walsh began the career as a Technical Support Engineer at Centrica Energy and holds a BEng (Hons) degree from the Royal Military College of Science.
