Nakoto Sakurai

Nakoto Sakurai is an experienced HR professional with a robust background in strategic human resources and organizational development. Currently serving as Director of Strategic HR and Global HRBP at CMIC Group since July 2023, Nakoto oversees HR initiatives for over 7,000 employees across the healthcare sector in Japan and Asia, focusing on change management and leadership development. Prior experience includes a role as Director of Talent Acquisition at Abbott, where Nakoto managed talent planning and development across multiple business units. Additional roles encompass foundational work in HR training and talent development through WORLD CLASS, as well as leadership positions in various firms including Genesis PURE Corp. and Recruit Co., Ltd. Nakoto holds a Bachelor's degree in Management from Hitotsubashi University and is currently furthering education at IMD.
