Tim Beres

Tim Beres currently serves as the Executive Vice President at CNA Corporation, a position held since September 2006, where responsibility includes the development and execution of the Institute for Public Research, managing a $30 million portfolio focused on diverse areas such as homeland security, emergency management, public health preparedness, and climate issues. Prior to this role, Tim Beres worked at the Department of Homeland Security from 2003 to 2006 as Vice President of Safety and Security and served as Director of Preparedness Programs (SES). Tim Beres is an alumnus of Virginia Tech, graduating between 1987 and 1991, and attended Marshall High School.
