Chen Luo

Chen Luo is a seasoned research engineer currently working at TuSimple, focusing on the development, design, and deployment of large-scale map algorithm pipeline infrastructure and data workflows. Prior experience includes a senior software engineer role at HERE Technologies, where Chen was involved in HD map automation and developing algorithms for localization geometry while also acting as a Scrum master. Chen holds a master's degree with distinction in computer science from DePaul University and a bachelor’s degree in computer and information systems security from Northeastern University. Additionally, Chen is recognized as a co-inventor on a US patent for an automatic localization geometry generator. Early career experiences include positions at DePaul University and internships at Thomson Reuters and Chinasoft International.
