Lusine Tovmasyan currently serves as the Policy Development and Advocacy Manager for the USAID Economic Foundations Activity at Cultivating New Frontiers in Agriculture (CNFA), a position held since January 2024. Prior experience includes serving as an EITI Board member for the Implementing Countries Constituency from June 2023 to February 2024 and leading the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) Secretariat in Armenia from January 2018 to February 2024. Lusine's expertise in extractive industries is further demonstrated through roles with the USAID Enhanced Transparency in the Mining Sector Project and various positions within the Government of the Republic of Armenia, including serving as Economic and Legal Expert. Lusine started a career in public service at the State Social Security Service of Armenia, where roles spanned from leading international cooperation efforts to working in actuarial calculations. Lusine holds a master's degree in Economics from Armenian State University of Economics and studied at The Fletcher School at Tufts University in 2011.
