Laura Iannazzo currently serves as a Chargé de Recherche at CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique since October 2016. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral position at Université Paris Descartes from September 2012 to September 2016, where involvement included the synthesis of modified carbapenems and study of L,D transpeptidases. Additional roles at Université Paris Descartes included research on aminoacyl-tRNA synthesis and the investigation of the bacterial transferase FemX. Laura completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in 2011 and obtained a Doctorat in Organic Chemistry from Pierre and Marie Curie University in 2010, where a focus on cycloadditions, transition metal catalysis, and C-H activation was pursued under the guidance of Dr. Corinne Aubert and Pr. Max Malacria.
