Sumedha Verma

Sumedha Verma, CFA, currently serves as Vice President and Head of Catastrophe Modeling at Coaction Global since October 2022. Prior to this role, Sumedha held various positions at Guy Carpenter from October 2016 to September 2022, including Senior Vice President and Vice President in North America Catastrophe Advisory. Sumedha's career began as a Math and Stats Modeling Analyst at Insight Catastrophe Group from July 2010 to September 2016. Additional experience includes internships at eSys Technologies in R&D and marketing in 2006 and 2008. Sumedha Verma earned a Master of Science in Finance from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
