Deepak Sharma

Deepak Sharma is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with substantial experience in digital forensics and incident response. Currently serving as Principal Security Engineer at Coalition, Inc. since October 2020, Deepak specializes in host and network-based forensics across various platforms and cloud environments, while also innovating methods to detect indicators of compromise. In addition, Deepak is an Adjunct Professor at Conestoga College, teaching courses on cyber security and investigations since September 2023, and is a member of the SANS GIAC Advisory Board since March 2019. Previous experience includes leading incident response and corporate investigations at BlackBerry and monitoring security events at Herjavec Group. Deepak holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The University of Winnipeg and an IT Information Security Management degree from Fanshawe College.
