Ashley Powell

Ashley Powell is an experienced educator currently serving as a District Title I Academic Coach for Cobb County School District since July 2017. Previously, Ashley worked as a Professional Development Facilitator for Illustrative Mathematics from March 2020 to December 2022 and held positions as a Mathematics Teacher at Marietta City Schools from August 2009 to July 2017 and Muscogee County School District from August 2008 to May 2009. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Education in Middle Grades Education from The University of Georgia, a Master of Education in Accomplished Teaching from Columbus State University, and an Education Specialist in Teacher Leadership from Kennesaw State University. Currently, Ashley is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction: Mathematics Education at Indiana University Bloomington, expected to be completed between June 2023 and May 2026.
