Angela Blanton

Angela Blanton serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees for Code for America since January 2024, and has held various leadership positions at Pittsburgh Public Theater, including Past Chair and Board Chair. As an Independent Director at GCM Grosvenor and Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Carnegie Mellon University since 2015, Angela Blanton provides strategic financial leadership for an operating budget of approximately $1.6 billion, overseeing a team of around 110 employees. Angela Blanton has also contributed as a member of the Board of Trustees and Vice Chair of the Finance Committee for NACUBO from 2019 to 2024. Previous experience includes various executive roles at PNC and financial analyst positions at PPG Industries, Chrysler Motors Corp, and Delphi. Angela Blanton holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
