Ryan Shao

Ryan Shao is an experienced professional in the field of geology and environmental systems, currently serving as an Environment System Specialist at Coeur Mining, Inc. since February 2022. Previously held roles include Environmental Projects and Permitting Specialist at Coeur Silvertip Holding and Project Hydrogeologist at SNC-Lavalin. Additionally, experience as a Hydrogeologist at Stantec and as a Geologist at Silvercorp Metals Inc. and Ascot Resources Ltd. was gained. Ryan Shao's early career involved work as a Project Controller at Husky Energy and as a Geological Field Assistant at Cash Minerals Inc. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Engineering Geology from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology from The University of British Columbia.
