Ajay Shankar

Mr. Ajay Shankar is a Non-Executive Independent Director of the Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in science from the University of Allahabad, Prayagraj and a master’s degree in economics from Georgetown University, Washington D.C. He was previously a member of the Indian Administrative Service, which he joined in 1973 and retired as Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion in the Government of India in December, 2009. He has experience in public services, and fields such as the power sector. He was previously associated with Tata Consumer Products Limited, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Larsen and Toubro Limited and IDBI Bank Limited as a director.
