Bonnie Whitney

Bonnie Whitney is a seasoned professional in the field of recreational therapy and active living management, currently serving as the Regional Manager of Active Living at COGIR Real Estate since December 2023. Prior experience includes the role of Regional Manager of Active Living for Revera Inc., overseeing recreation practices across 50+ sites in Western Canada. Whitney has held various positions such as Director of Recreation at Silvera for Seniors, where evidence-based programming was designed across multiple communities, and Recreation Manager at AgeCare, where a new recreation department was successfully developed. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation from The University of Lethbridge and a diploma in Recreation and Leisure Studies from Confederation College.
