Lance Black, MD, MBID, currently serves as a Venture Scout at Hoplite Healthcare and Chief Clinical Strategy Officer at Prana Thoracic. With extensive experience in innovation and clinical strategy, Lance has held key roles at Texas Medical Center Innovation since 2017, where responsibilities included serving as Interim Director and Clinical Advisor. An Adjunct Lecturer at Rice University and Advisory Board Member at Cognetivity Neurosciences Ltd, Lance also co-founded XN Health, focusing on innovative therapies for mechanically ventilated patients.
