Bengt Christensson

Bengt Christensson has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the tech industry. Bengt is currently working as a Business Development professional at Axelera AI, where they are involved in developing hardware and software platforms for artificial intelligence. Prior to this, Bengt served as the Director of the Board at Cognibotics AB, a company specializing in the development of innovative industrial robots and AI control systems. Bengt also held the position of Director of the Board at SenseNode, Akribian, and served as a Venture Partner at Spirit Ventures.

Bengt's earlier career includes senior positions at Ambarella, where they played a crucial role in growing sales and expanding business in the areas of surveillance, robotics, and automotive. Bengt also worked at Stream Processors, Inc. as the Vice President of Business Development, contributing to the company's success in parallel processing for AI and imaging. Before that, they held different roles at Axis Communications, Inc., including Vice President of Strategic Alliances and CTO, driving product innovation, market development, and IPO.

Furthermore, Bengt served as a Director of the Board at UPnP Forum, a founding member of the organization, and nBand Communications, Inc. Their expertise and leadership contributions have made a significant impact on the companies they have been associated with.

Bengt Christensson has a diverse education history. In 1976-1979, they attended Falkenbergs Gymnasieskola where they pursued a Naturvetenskaplig Linje, NA degree. From 1980-1985, they studied at The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, earning an MScEE degree in Computer Science and Electronics. In 1984, they briefly studied English Language and Literature at Lund University. Bengt continued their academic pursuits in 1985-1986, enrolling in the PhD program at The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University. Additionally, they attended Ahrens University in 1996-1997 to study Symbolic Leadership in Rapid Growth Companies and in 1998 for Growth Process and Change Management. In 2018, Bengt attended StyrelseAkademien, focusing on Active Company Board Work.
