Apoorv Birthare

Apoorv Birthare is a Staff Software Engineer at Coinbase since December 2021, currently serving as the tech lead for the blockchain security platform, responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of applications and services utilizing Go, MongoDB, and AWS. Prior to Coinbase, Apoorv worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from March 2013 to December 2021 as a Software Development Engineer III, where significant contributions included leading the design of a heat management system for a new SQL database and re-architecting AWS Lex's speech recognition fleet, achieving a notable increase in accuracy. Earlier experience includes roles at Sokrati as a Software Design Engineer and Amdocs as a Programming SME, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and user experience. Apoorv is pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Washington and holds an Engineer’s degree from Shri G. S. Institute Of Technology And Science.
