Sam Shoar

Sam Shoar is a data analyst for the US policy team at Coinbase, a position held since December 2022. Previously, Sam worked as a research assistant in economic history at Harvard University from May to October 2022, where tasks included conducting preliminary data analyses, creating a substantial dataset through a coding pipeline using Python and R, and training new team members. In early 2021, Sam served as a research fellow at Prometheus - Das Freiheitsinstitut, contributing to a bachelor thesis on public opinion and policy. Sam holds a Master's Degree in Specialized Economic Analysis, focusing on International Trade, Finance, and Development from the Barcelona School of Economics, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
