Diarmuid McArdle

Diarmuid McArdle has extensive experience in automation and project management, currently serving as the Head of Automation Programs and previously as an Automation Program Manager at Coles since June 2004. Diarmuid has been instrumental in the design of large-scale fully automated distribution centers, overseeing scope definition, tender evaluation, supplier selection, detailed design, contract negotiation, and business case development. Prior to Coles, Diarmuid held roles as Chilled Network Program Manager and Project Manager - Automation at Sainsburys Supermarkets Ltd, and as Project Manager at Littlewoods. Diarmuid began a career at Pilkington, progressing from Project Leader from August 1985 to June 1998 to a Technical Manager at Littlewoods before moving into project management roles.
