Rick Slaathuis

Rick Slaathuis has extensive experience in education, currently serving as an Examinator Nederlands for the College voor Toetsen en Examens since January 2020, where responsibilities include overseeing Dutch language examinations for both general and special secondary education. In addition, Rick has been a first-degree Dutch teacher at Montessori College Twente since August 2015. Previous positions include teaching Dutch at Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen from August 2017 to February 2022, teaching at Avila College, and serving as LVO Nederlands at Hogeschool Windesheim. Early career experiences include a trade marketing internship at Vrumona (Heineken) and an internship at Ymere. Rick Slaathuis holds a degree from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and attended Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
