Lisa R. Vasquez

Lisa R. Vasquez is the Vice President of Advancement at Collin College. Lisa has over 20 years of experience in marketing, communications, and public relations.

Lisa began their career in 1989 as a Communication Coordinator for Lomas Realty/Vista Properties. Lisa then spent two years as the Advertising Coordinator for the Dallas Business Journal. In 1994, they became the Director of Public Relations for the J.D. McCarty Center for Children with Developmental Disabilities, where they worked for four years.

In 1998, Lisa became the Marketing Manager for the South Central Division of WorldTravel BTI. Lisa then spent two years as the Vice President of Marketing & Communications for the Greater Dallas Chamber before joining Collin College in 2002.

Lisa R. Vasquez has a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Innovation from Texas Tech University. Lisa also has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Public Relations from the University of Oklahoma.

Their manager is H. Neil Matkin, District President. They are on a team with Brenden Mesch - Interim Campus Provost, Technical Campus & Courtyard Center, Mark Smith - Campus Provost, McKinney Campus, and Monica Velazquez - General Counsel.
