Jia Yu

Jia Yu has extensive experience in the aerospace industry, spanning several decades. Currently retired, Jia Yu held the position of Chief Engineer and Fellow in Acoustics at UTC Aerospace Systems since August 2012, following a tenure at Goodrich Aerostructures as Chief Engineer Acoustics from November 1977 to July 2012. Jia Yu's career began in academia, with roles as a teaching assistant in Physics at Chun-Yuan University and as a research assistant at the University of Calgary. Jia Yu earned a Master’s degree in Acoustics from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Chung Yuan Christian University.
