Nigel Barsby

Nigel Barsby is an experienced aerospace professional with a significant background in systems engineering, currently serving as Associate Director - Systems Engineering at Collins Aerospace since November 2018, specializing in Navigation and Surveillance Systems. Prior to this role, Nigel held various positions at Rockwell Collins, including Principal Engineer and Technical Project Manager for significant projects such as the GLU-2100 Multi Mode Receiver and Airbus A350 SATCOM system. With an extensive engineering background that includes senior roles in systems test and evaluation at BAE Systems and British Aerospace, Nigel has demonstrated expertise in the development, integration, and certification of advanced avionics systems. Nigel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Communications and Design Technology from The Open University and an HND in Electrical & Electronics from the University of Hertfordshire.
