Christian Smith

Having served leadership roles in the corporate, non-profit, and higher education markets, Dr. Chris Smith has dedicated his career to helping others identify and achieve their professional goals. In his role as Assistant Dean for Professional Development, Dr. Smith collaborated with Elon University and employers to develop strategies for enhanced training and placement. This broad community partnership, along with his extensive corporate recruiting and employee development experience, helped Dr. Smith develop a deep understanding of the practical needs employers have in acquiring and developing their talent. As Director of Professional Development for the National Board for Certified Counselors, Dr. Smith led initiatives including credential accreditation/reaccreditation, contract development and staff management. As Executive Consultant for the Truist Leadership Institute, Dr. Smith leverages his experiences to create an insightful learning environment for leaders to achieve lasting results.
