Peggy McCready, Ed.D., currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for IT Strategy and Planning at Colorado State University, overseeing IT governance, strategic planning, and project management across the Fort Collins and Pueblo campuses since April 2022. With extensive experience in higher education IT leadership, McCready previously held positions such as Executive Director of IT Strategy and Planning at Colorado State University, Associate Vice President for IT Services and Support at Northwestern University, Director of Academic IT at the University of Oxford, and Director of Academic Technology Services at New York University. McCready's early career included significant roles at Yale University, where progressive leadership culminated in the position of Sr. Director of Academic Technologies. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Education from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Education from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Humanities in Communication and Media Studies from Penn State University.
