Guru S. Larson

Guru S. Larson is an experienced professional in sustainability and corporate responsibility, currently serving as the Director of Sustainability at Columbia Sportswear since August 2014. In this role, Guru leads sustainability initiatives across the Columbia Sportswear portfolio, which includes brands such as prAna, SOREL, and Mountain Hardwear, focusing on climate targets, environmental regulations, traceability, and ESG reporting. Prior to this position, Guru held various roles at Mountain Hardwear and Columbia Sportswear where contributions included pioneering sustainability programs and developing environmental management guidelines. Academic credentials include an MBA in Sustainable Business and a degree in Journalism and Communications from the University of Oregon, complemented by a study abroad experience in International Relations at the University of Oslo.
