Mario Rapetti

Mario Rapetti currently serves as the Director of Housing Services at Columbia University Irving Medical Center since March 2020, overseeing a diverse team comprising 10 professional and 50 union staff to manage services for over 1,400 residential students across seven buildings. Prior to this role, Mario held various positions including Assistant Dean of Student Life at Purchase College, SUNY, where responsibilities included managing the Office of Community Engagement, and Assistant Director for Residential Life at New York University, overseeing operations for a residential area housing over 4,500 students. Mario has also held leadership roles at Montclair State University, Elizabethtown College, and served as a Residence Hall Director at several institutions. Mario possesses a Master of Business Administration from SUNY Polytechnic Institute and additional qualifications in Human Resource Management and Student Affairs in Higher Education.
