Ainsley McCallister Wierda serves as the CEO and Founder of Urū Sports, a venture-backed sports technology startup focused on supporting elite athletes in navigating their careers. In addition to leading Urū Sports, Ainsley co-hosts The Global Game podcast, which showcases the experiences of professional athletes worldwide. Ainsley has previously participated in the Comcast NBCUniversal SportsTech Program and completed a fellowship with Next Play Capital, where insights were shared on venture capital and business modeling. Ainsley's athletic career includes notable achievements as a midfielder for USA Field Hockey and competing at high levels in various countries. As a co-founder and president of Athletes for Community Transformation, Ainsley fostered connections between student-athletes and the Ann Arbor community, also serving as a liaison for the University of Michigan's Athletic Department. Ainsley holds a Bachelor’s degree in Movement Science from the University of Michigan and is currently a Tory Burch Fellow.
