Wendy MacLucas is an experienced professional in infrastructure regulation and climate change, currently serving as Principal Adviser at the Commerce Commission since June 2019, with previous roles including Manager of Engagement & Operations and Head of Fibre. Wendy has a diverse background in strategic planning and consulting, having worked at Visionstream Pty Ltd and Chorus NZ Ltd where roles included Strategy & Planning Manager and Commercial Manager. Wendy's career also includes significant positions at TelstraClear, such as Programme Director and Industry & Regulatory Advisor. Wendy holds an LLB (Hons) and BCom from the University of Canterbury, and has furthered education in mediation and dispute resolution at LEADR, Massey University, and the College of Law NZ.
