Paul Willingham

Paul Willingham serves as the Senior Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief of Police at Lone Star College, overseeing a police department dedicated to the safety of over 100,000 students and staff. Willingham leads the system police department and also functions as the Director of Parking. As an adjunct professor, Willingham has contributed to the academic field by teaching criminal justice courses at both Lone Star College-University Park and the University of Houston-Clear Lake. In addition to Law Enforcement leadership roles, Willingham has served as Team Leader for CALEA, conducting accreditation inspections, and has held leadership positions within the Texas Association of College and University Police Administrators, including President and Vice President. Previous experience includes a long tenure at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in various police roles, including Chief of Police. Willingham holds a Master of Arts in Criminology and a Bachelor of Science in Administration of Criminal Justice, alongside specialized training in police management.
