Teresa Rafferty is an experienced professional in the fields of psychotherapy, education, and child advocacy. Currently serving as a Guardian Ad Litem for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts since 2011, Teresa has collaborated with attorneys and various stakeholders in Probate and Family Courts across multiple counties. As a psychotherapist and sole practitioner since 1987, Teresa provides comprehensive mental health services, addressing issues such as domestic violence, bereavement, and trauma. Additionally, Teresa has held adjunct professor positions at Worcester State University, Quinsigamond Community College, and Becker College, teaching diverse psychology and social work courses. Involved in community service, Teresa is the founder and President of the Board of Directors for Baby's Breath, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting at-risk populations. Teresa holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work and Public Policy from Union University, a Master of Social Work from the University of Connecticut, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, among other academic qualifications.
