Karina Rubio

Karina Rubio, CISA, is an experienced professional in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) with a strong background in IT compliance and auditing. Currently serving as GRC Manager for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania since August 2024, Karina has previously held the same title at Kharon for a brief period in 2024. Prior roles include IT Compliance Manager at LS Direct, Senior Security Risk Specialist at Help at Home, and positions as an IT Compliance Analyst and Senior IT Compliance Analyst at SparkPost. Karina began a career in auditing as an IS Internal Auditor at the Maryland Judiciary and as an Internal Auditor at the University of Maryland Medical System. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Information Technology from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Management Information Systems from Salisbury University.
