Julian Evans

Julian Evans is an experienced diplomat currently serving as Director for Commonwealth Liaison at the Commonwealth War Graves Commission since November 2017. Prior positions include Director Protocol at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and British Deputy High Commissioner and Chief Operating Officer at the British High Commission in New Delhi, responsible for overseeing the Foreign and Commonwealth Office's largest overseas network. Earlier roles feature Consul General at the British Consulate-General in San Francisco, where advocacy spanned several U.S. states, as well as serving as British Deputy High Commissioner to Canada in Ottawa and Pakistan in Islamabad. Julian Evans holds a BA(Hons) in Geography from UCL, earned between 1975 and 1978.
