Jamie Parker

Jamie Parker, Esq., CHPC, serves as General Counsel for Community Care of West Virginia since July 2021 and has been an online Adjunct Instructor in the Legal Assisting Program at West Virginia Junior College since July 2008. Jamie Parker's previous roles include HIPAA/Medical Privacy Officer at the University of Alabama, where responsibilities included overseeing the HIPAA program from October 2018 to June 2021, and HIPAA Privacy & Compliance Analyst at WVU Health Sciences Center from March 2015 to October 2018. Additional experience includes roles as an attorney with a focus on real estate and family law, and a contract specialist with the U.S. Department of Energy. Jamie Parker holds a Juris Doctor from West Virginia University College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations Journalism from West Virginia University.
