The Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut (CFECT) connects charitable people in Eastern Connecticut - 42* cities and towns strong, from Mystic and Stonington to Mansfield and Brooklyn - with the nonprofits and causes that matter to them and to the future of the region. 

For over three decades, the Community Foundation has awarded more than $59 million to local nonprofit agencies and student scholarship recipients. Charitable individuals, families and organizations have given more than $107 million and set up over 500 individual funds. The Foundation's assets stand at nearly $90 million mark.
