James Blackburn

James Blackburn is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Gas Broking for Tradition since September 2020. Previously, James held positions such as Senior Trading Advisor at Senex Energy and Forward Markets Trader at CleanCo Queensland. James has extensive expertise as a Senior Energy Trader with ERM Power and as an Energy Trader with both ENGIE Australia & New Zealand and Origin Energy, where roles included Energy Trading Compliance Analyst. Academically, James holds a Master’s degree in Finance from RMIT University, a Diploma of Financial Markets from the Australian Financial Markets Association, and a Bachelor of Business in Banking and Finance from QUT.
