Carole Masson

Carole Masson has over two decades of experience in the field of corporate reporting, currently serving as a Partner in Corporate Reporting Advisory at Forvis Mazars Group since September 2000. Carole leads the Sustainability Reporting Standards technical function, focusing on monitoring developments related to the CSRD, ESRS, and ISSB Sustainability Disclosure Standards. Carole's expertise includes former leadership roles in IFRS 15 revenue recognition and financial statement presentation. Active in various sustainability reporting working groups in France and Europe, Carole is also a member of the Consultative Working Group for Corporate Reporting of ESMA’s Issuers Standing Committee. In addition to training clients and auditors, Carole oversees regular publications on financial and sustainability reporting, including several significant guides released in 2023. Recent positions include a membership on the Commission des Normes de Durabilité at the Autorité des Normes Comptables and coordination of a sustainability reporting working group for the CNCC. Carole holds a Master in Management from ESCP Business School and is a qualified French CPA.
