Amy Edwards

Amy Edwards is a skilled data engineer with extensive experience in leading data engineering teams and implementing best practices. Currently employed at Compass Group UK & Ireland as a Lead Data Engineer since December 2022, Amy transitioned from E15 US to develop the company’s first in-house data engineering team, successfully adopting agile and scrum methodologies. Prior to this role, Amy served as a Senior Data Engineer and Data Engineer at E15 Group from June 2019 to December 2022, where responsibilities included directing architecture and pipeline strategy and contributing to the development of an AWS data lake. Amy's earlier work experience includes various server and kitchen roles at restaurants from 2015 to 2022. Holding a Master’s degree in Computer Science from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s degree in Astronomy and Astrophysics from the University of Michigan, Amy combines technical expertise with a strong academic background.
