Katherine Oliver

Katherine is a founding Principal of Bloomberg Associates, a consultancy firm established by Mike Bloomberg to provide both strategic and practical advice to cities worldwide.

Katherine oversees the media and technology portfolio, advising cities on economic development and public communications strategies while helping them harness the power of media and technology to improve government services. Katherine has a long history of working alongside Mike Bloomberg, first as General Manager for Bloomberg Radio & Television, and then in government where Mayor Bloomberg appointed her as Commissioner of Media & Entertainment for New York City, a position she held from 2002-2013.
