Tom Gonzales

Tom Gonzales is a seasoned professional in instructional development and training, currently serving as CompTIA Adjunct Faculty since July 2024. Prior to this role, Tom worked as a Local Veterans’ Employment Representative for the California Employment Development Department from January 2023 to August 2024, advocating for veterans in multiple counties. Tom's experience includes developing and delivering training courses at JobTrain, where a focus was on CompTIA Network+ exam preparation and DevOps education. As a Technical Instructional Developer at Palo Alto Networks, Tom contributed to pre-sales curriculum development and training for cloud-based acquisitions. Other roles included support and process development at Tivo and technical training at TechShop, Inc. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with concentrations in Computer Networking and Fiber Optics from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and an Internet Security Certification from UCSC-Extension.
