Marie Arcos

Marie Arcos is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in government affairs and community relations. Currently serving as Chief Government Affairs Officer at Compudopt since May 2024, Marie previously held key leadership positions at YMCA of Greater Houston from January 2001 to May 2024, including Chief Government and Community Relations Officer and Vice President of Governmental and Community Affairs. In these roles, Marie focused on strengthening community foundations through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, while engaging diverse stakeholders to advance strategic initiatives. Additionally, Marie served as Executive Director of Community Development and Community Executive Director at M. D. Anderson Family Y, overseeing community-focused programs and operations. Early career experience includes a role as Projects Manager at Spindletop Charities, Inc. Marie holds a Master of Social Work in Political/Community Organizing from the University of Houston.
