Ravi Shah

Ravi Shah is a Solutions Architect with a decade of experience in the IT industry. Ravi started their career at FusionStorm in November 2009 and was with the company for almost nine years before it was acquired by Computacenter in October 2018. In their current role, Ravi provides post-sales engineering, consulting, design and implementation services related to server, storage & virtualization solutions tailored for specific client environments. Ravi also supports Pre-sales activities including analyzing technical needs, requirements, and state of a customers’ current infrastructure and operations; identifying opportunities and developing technical solutions; presenting, reviewing and validating solutions to ensure compatibility; and assisting the Sales and Engineering groups with requests for quotes / information, bids, proposals and SOWs. In addition, Ravi works with SA's, other Engineers and vendors to adjust designs to meet the customer’s needs.

Ravi has a proven track record of consistently meeting project milestones and deadlines in fast-paced work environments. Ravi excels at identifying, researching, analyzing and resolving technical problems, system malfunctions & operational problems. Ravi is also skilled at developing design/testing/implementation and change control documentation.

In their previous role at FusionStorm, Ravi was responsible for installing new/rebuilding existing servers and configuring hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards & project/operational requirements. Ravi also performed daily system monitoring, verified the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewed system and application logs, and monitored as well as verified completion of sch'd jobs such as backups, cleanup jobs etc.

Ravi Shah has a Master's of science in Telecommunication System Management from Northeastern University. Ravi also has a Master's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Northeastern University. In addition, Ravi has various certifications from Dell Technologies, Amazon Web Services, and Coursera. These certifications include DES-1423 Specialist - Implementation Engineer Isilon Solutions, AWS Certified SysOps - Associate, AWS Certified Developer - Associate, Information Storage and Management Version 3 Exam (E05-001), Using Databases with Python, Using Python to Access Web Data, Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python), and AWS Business Professional.
