IT Infrastructure Manager

The IT Infrastructure Manager oversees the development and execution of the organization’s IT infrastructure strategy, focusing on cloud services, security, and compliance. This role leads the infrastructure team, manages budgets, and drives large-scale projects to support business goals while ensuring system performance and risk management.  The ideal candidate will be able to grow and mature the Infrastructure team and be hands-on in delivering projects and services when needed.

Essential Functions:

Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Oversee the planning, design, deployment, and management of critical IT infrastructure components with a focus on cloud services.

Lead and develop the infrastructure team, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure systems perform efficiently, with a strong focus on security, risk management, and compliance.

Drive infrastructure strategy, budget management, and large-scale projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and ensure the successful execution of IT initiatives.  Partner closely with Security & Compliance teams.

Position Requirements:

  • 5-10 years in IT infrastructure, including experience in cloud services management (Azure & Microsoft 365 preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Relevant Certifications, such as: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, PMP, Agile Scrum Master, CISSP, CCSP, CISM, ITIL Foundation
  • Proven experience in team leadership and managing day-to-day operations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in IT infrastructure strategy development, execution, and alignment with business goals.
  • Experience with budget management for IT projects and infrastructure.
  • Strong background in security, risk management, and compliance processes, including partnering with security teams to ensure organizational integrity.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud computing, networking, server management, virtualization and storage solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively across various teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to ensure operational continuity and address complex technical challenges.

Compensation Range: up to $150,000. Range can flux dependent on experience, education/training, etc.
