Natalie Ruiz

Natalie Ruiz is an experienced college coach currently working at Rivet School since May 2020, where responsibilities include supporting working adults in achieving a bachelor's degree through an accelerated and flexible program. Additionally, Natalie has been a college coach at Beyond 12 since June 2018, focusing on first-generation, low-income college students and utilizing Salesforce for data analysis to enhance student growth. Prior experience includes serving as a program coordinator at The Opportunity Institute, where outreach to community colleges and legislative support for incarcerated students was key, as well as a legislative intern at the California State Senate, a clerical intern at Alameda County Social Services, and a project coordinator at the UC Berkeley Student Parent Center. Natalie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley, awarded in 2017.
