Chuck Cross

Chuck Cross has extensive experience in financial supervision and regulatory policy, currently serving as Senior Advisor for Policy & Supervision at the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) since January 2007, specializing in nonbank supervision. Previously, Cross led the Consumer Protection & Non-Depository Supervision Section and was involved in mortgage regulatory policy at CSBS. Cross also contributed to the U.S. Department of Treasury's Implementation Team for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau focusing on nondepository supervision and consumer complaints. Additionally, Cross served as Division Director at the Washington Department of Financial Institutions, regulating various financial sectors, and held the position of VP and General Manager at Security First Mortgage Inc. Education includes a degree from Western Washington University completed between 1977 and 1986.
